
Noel S. Paul
Noel S. Paul, PE, MBA, is an international business leader, career strategist, coach & public speaker whose strengths & passions lie in helping individuals unlock their potential and navigate purposeful career paths. His “coaching career” started in high school when he served as a mentor for underprivileged youth as part of a servant leadership program. Noel brings over 30 years of experience spanning multiple functions (such as engineering/ manufacturing, human resources, marketing/commercialization and corporate social responsibility) as well as multiple industries (including human pharmaceuticals, animal health, technology and agriculture). He also brings a rare blend of strategic insight, cultural fluency, and hands-on leadership to his career development methodologies.
Noel has mentored and coached hundreds of students and working professionals worldwide, across college campuses & corporate boardrooms. His transformational work as Executive Director of Careers Services for Purdue University’s Daniels School of Business reshaped the career services function, significantly boosting student outcomes and engagement. Throughout his 19 years of experience as a global HR leader for Lilly (pharmaceuticals), he led groundbreaking talent initiatives, from staffing global start-ups to developing high-impact international leaders across Brazil, Chile, China, India, Kenya, Mexico, the Middle East, Singapore, South Africa & Taiwan.
A successful entrepreneur, Noel founded Gold Medal Careers, a coaching & consulting firm in 2018, where he created innovative, holistic career development frameworks and delivered career & culture workshops to students, staff, faculty, & alumni from key universities such as Georgetown, Johns Hopkins, Notre Dame, Marian University, Franklin College and Purdue & Indiana Universities as well as Rochester Institute of Technology in Dubai.
As an active community leader, Noel has served as Board Member of Project Leadership Service and the Indy Hunger Network and President of India Association of Indianapolis. He was also a member of the Strategy Committee for the East Africa Dairy Development Project (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania) which was funded by The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation through Heifer International.
Noel received both his Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and MBA in International General Management from Purdue University and in his free time enjoys wine, food, travel, sports and spending time with friends. He also enjoys learning about leadership, global business, and how cultures from around the world are both similar and different/unique.
