DR. JOHN C. TURNER
John C. Turner, Ph.D. aka The Professor JT, a native of Indianapolis, Indiana, is an alumnus of Indiana State University where he received his B.S. in Electronics Technology and M.S. in Student Affairs & Higher Education. Dr. Turner successfully completed a Ph.D. in Urban Education Studies from the Indiana University School of Education at Indiana University Indianapolis. Dr. Turner’s academic research focus investigates the retention and success of the minority males & BIPOC K-Doctorate students, staff, and faculty. Dr. Turner is the CEO and Owner of The Professor JT Educational Counseling LLC. Dr. Turner has been a Conference Speaker, Model, Community Panelist, and Keynote Speaker, along with being an Education Advocate who creates community/school/organization/corporation networking and programming opportunities to discuss societal, systemic, & DEIB issues. Dr. Turner is host of "The Doc Chat" Show on LinkedIN and YouTube which highlights the doctoral journeys of Doctors from all kinds of Doctorate degree majors. Dr. Turner is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
