I grew up in a Christian home, so faith was never foreign to me. My family immigrated to Manhattan, New York, from Taiwan when I was 11 years old. I remained in Christian environments through school and college. I attended Parsons School of Design and married my husband, Jonathan, in New York in 1994.
I practiced as an architect for eight to nine years in a profession that required precision, structure, and vision. One day, God spoke with clarity and called me to become a full-time wife and mother. I shifted my role when we relocated to Los Angeles in 2004, where I began to discover a new kind of calling while raising our son, Jordan, at home.
In Los Angeles, I stepped into church leadership and became president of the parent association at Jordan’s Christian high school. I led prayers, rebuilt trust, and helped restore a sense of community among parents, staff, and teachers during a season of deep division.
Today, I continue to serve in God’s kingdom while accompanying my husband on business trips, proclaiming Jesus’ goodness and glory as part of God’s penmanship in my life. I am honored to be the author of Bridge and a contributing author for Pandemic Blessings.
I am a proud mom of a prosperous young son and have a successful, supportive husband. We are grateful for God’s fresh season for us, now living in Chicago near our son.
