Jannean Hedgespeth

Jannean Hedgespeth resides in Indianapolis, Indiana and first and foremost is a follower of Jesus Christ. She is a wife of over 26 years. She is also a mom and a step-mom. Jannean loves gardening - hydrangeas are her favorite and she also loves cooking and creating homemade soups for her family as well as creating her own cookies and cakes. Jannean is the author of the Adult Christian Fiction book "Iris's Meadow" which was recognized as a "Finalist" in the American Writing Awards 2023. She is also the author of the Christian Children's book series "The New Adventures of Frankie & Abby" in which the second book in the series; "Tatttletale" was recognized as a "Finalist" in the American Writing Awards 2023.

Jannean’s passion for descriptive storytelling began in her youth, inspired by the imaginative worlds of The Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew, and Harlequin Romance novels. Those early stories sparked a love for writing that eventually became a calling. When she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, Jannean recognized that her talent was a gift from Him. As her walk with Christ deepened, He redirected her pen to focus on His truth, His Word, and the beauty of His design for His people.
