Where Is the Love
The indignation burns within the hearts of many
The hearts of man are getting colder and colder
We were born in sin, but it is love that gives us the option to be born again
Where is the love?
Bitter baby mama’s and daddy’s creating tension for the children to see
As a result, they’re raised in an environment where love ceases to exist
They grow up fighting for affection and acceptance lacking to give or receive it because no one gave it to them
Where is the love?
Television showing movements of those who are fighting for equality
Raising up even more indignation this isn’t how it’s supposed to be
We find ourselves digging deeper into this ditch of division
Where is the love?
People can only give what they have, so if its not there how can it get there?
True love can only be found when we deal with the issues of our hearts
When we can be honest and face the pain and things that make us cry
When we humble ourselves and put others first but use wisdom when doing so
When we open our hearts and ask Jesus to come in
Then we can learn how to love
Where is the love? Oh Lord please teach us how to love.
