Enhanced DNA Publishing
2020 in Review & 2021 in View...
It is hard to imagine that just three short years ago, I retired from an amazing career and began a journey into entrepreneurship. My company, Enhanced DNA: Develop Nurture Achieve, LLC was birthed and just a year later, the Enhanced DNA Publishing Division was created as a result of publishing my first book, If You Really Knew Me: The Life, The Lessons and The Legacy. I realized that I enjoyed the publishing process and became a member of the Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA). In 2019, our first full year as a publishing company, Enhanced DNA Publishing published TEN amazing books, two that received national recognition!
2020 in Review ................
Published: In 2020, the progress continued. Even during the Pandemic (or maybe, because of the Pandemic), Enhanced DNA Publishing has been coaching and publishing many new and newer authors (from around the United States). Our publishing scope ranged from African American Fiction, political Fiction, Religion/Spirituality, Memoirs, to Diversity and Inclusion and more for a total of TWELVE books published in 2020 and FIVE more on deck to be published in January/February, 2021.
Social Media: In 2020, Enhanced DNA Publishing enhanced our social media and web exposure. The Enhanced DNA Publishing website Blog welcomed veteran author, Michelle P. Jones, with Purposeful in Stilettos, as a regular monthly feature. Michelle is an ordained minister, an Amazon International Bestselling author, business and ministry strategist, an inspirational/motivational speaker and is the President/CEO of Michelle P. Jones, Inc., a professional services firm, where she specializes in informing, empowering and equipping entrepreneurial creatives in structuring their business/ministry endeavors for success and continued growth. Through, Purposeful in Stilettos, Michelle discusses difficult yet necessary topics that have the potential of changing the trajectory of the readers' lives while empowering and enabling them to live their truth, their purpose and their lives, OUT LOUD and in living color.
Recognition: Another amazing accomplishment for Enhanced DNA Publishing is the
recognition that the authors and their books received - both local and nationally. Details of these accomplishments have been journaled in our previous blogs. She Became Me: A Letter to My Younger Self by Lentina Rogers and 13 other amazing authors won two awards this year: Marguerite Press - 2020 Indy Author Awards, First Place in Anthologies; and the 2020 Best Book Awards sponsored by the American Book Fest honored this book as a Finalist in the Anthology category. In addition, Facing the Darkness: Rhonda's Story, by Chane' Lucas, was also named as a Finalist by the 2020 Best Book Awards in the African American Fiction category. 2021 In View .....................
In View: Yes, our Enhanced DNA Publishing authors have been working hard to bring new stories, insights, and even a cookbook to their audiences in 2021! Our first FIVE books (listed below) are already in the works and will be released in early January and February. Another FOUR authors are on deck to be published before the end of first Quarter 2021! We are BUSY, BUSY, BUSY!
